Microsoft Publisher Class 8: Term 1

Congratulations, haven’t you done well? Give yourself a pat on the back for your hard work – certificates is what we were concentrating on tonight!

Using Microsoft Publisher’s built in wizards, I demonstrated to the class how you could design many different types of certificates for a wide range of occasions.

The exercise I set for the first part of the class, was to create a set of certificates. The first was a ‘Employee of the Month’ certificate. Then the second task was to create three certificates for a school Sport’s Day!

Publisher makes it really easy for you to do these sorts of tasks. The built in wizards provide excellent templates that you can simply modify with your own text, pictures and other elements.

The final part of the class was to design tickets for a Christmas Concert.  The students ticket’s should  have eight per printed A4 sheet. They should advertise the event, the date and time it starts!

The creations the class did were very good!  It’s just a pity the printer in the classroom is only black and white and not colour!
